Michael is the Chairman-Director and CEO of Care Options for Kids and its parent organization, OCI Holdings, LLC. Michael has led Care Options for Kids for 12 years since arriving in July 2009. He is a distinguished graduate-alumnus of Midwestern State University’s Dillard College of Business and MBA Beta Gamma Sigma Honor graduate of Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business. Michael is also a board-certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Michael lives in
Dallas and has a daughter, Katy, who is married and an ICU Certified RN, finalizing her doctorate-CRNA at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. When not working, Michael enjoys time with his dog Molly, following/seeing his favorite bands, writing, traveling, pursuing his love of flying and touring the country with friends on his Harley.

Justin Valdata is President and COO of Care Options for Kids and the parent company, OCI Holdings, LLC. Justin joined the COFK family in June 2018. He holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and an undergraduate from the University of Texas at Dallas, where he earned The Dean’s Award of Excellence and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. Justin has widespread experience in the areas of Consulting, Strategy, Operations, Finance, Banking, and Project Management and works to bring excellence, efficiency, and innovative changes that further the mission of COFK. Justin lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Nancy and their two rescue dogs. When he is not working, Justin enjoys the outdoors, cooking, working out, biking, traveling, gardening, attending local concerts, reading and podcasts, and real estate investing.

Jacob is the Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Care Options for Kids (COFK) and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Jacob earned his undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas where he was awarded The Dean’s Award of Excellence and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. Jacob specializes in rehabilitative services, developmental disorders, clinical research, and compliance management. Jacob’s servant-leadership mindset is the bedrock of his approach in leading COFK’s clinical and research initiatives. Jacob is inspired by COFK’s wonderful therapists and leadership team daily.  Outside of COFK, Jacob is a founding board member of a private investment organization with a proud focus on philanthropy and green initiatives. When not working, you will find Jacob hiking, off-road cycling, cooking, or traveling to watch his favorite musicians perform.

Sonia Lopez is the Controller for Care Options for Kids. She joined COFK in July 2014. Sonia earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and came to COFK with professional experience that is valued greatly. Sonia oversees the billing, finance, and accounting areas of the company. Sonia lives in Allen with her husband Alfredo, (a software engineer). They have 2 daughters, Eliana, (a pediatric home health nurse) and Ashley, (a high school math teacher). During her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family who loves to travel to beaches, go camping, and find mountains to hike.
